THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS RAISED FOR FAMILY OF DEAD MINNESOTA MARINE
The family of a Minnesota marine shot and killed on New Years Day is still waiting to learn when their son will be brought home for a proper burial.

In the meantime, a GoFundMe campaign is raising money to help the family of Lance Corporal Riley Kuznia. This morning, its only a few hundred dollars away from reaching its $10,000 goal. The page was just created two days ago. Kuznia died earlier this week in Washington D.C. after an accidental weapon discharge in Marine Barracks. He was just 20 years old. Authorities tell WDAY the marine who pulled the trigger has been reassigned to administrative duties. Several Marine Corp representatives visited the Kuznia family in Karlstad, Minnesota yesterday. Kuznia's mother, Kristen Swanson, says her son always was patriotic and believed serving was his duty. The flags outside the Kuznia household are at half-staff for their son. Arrangements are being made to bring Riley's body back home to Minnesota.
FBI INVESTIGATING AFTER BABY ATTACKED
WDAY News is continuing to dig for information today of a baby reportedly being attacked in St. Michael, North Dakota.
The FBI is taking over the investigation. The agency confirmed the feds are looking into what happened to baby Isaac. According to a GoFundMe page, 18-month-old is at a Fargo hospital after his mother's ex-boyfriend allegedly beat him. The site says the alleged beating was so bad it caused bleeding in his brain and required surgery to relieve pressure. His aunt says the baby has a long road to recovery but is expected to be okay. Family members are collecting donations for his mom and siblings while they stay in Fargo during his recovery.
