Band of Horses' debut release in March, "Everything All the Time," is a weathered collection of mid-tempo bucolic guitar rock that's drawn comparisons to My Morning Jacket, mostly because singer Benjamin Bridwell is a vocal doppelganger of MMJ's frontman Jim James. Like James, Bridwell's vocals are soaked in reverb. While this makes it sound like Bridwell's aiming his pipes at the wrong end of a bandshell, the tone produced by all that resonance is lushly celestial. The show at The Aquarium starts at 10. Admission is $7. This is a 21 and older show Opening will be two folk acts: Mt. Egypt from California and Nic Garcia from Minneapolis.
