Battle of the Bands

Local bands may not always get paid well for rocking area stages, but a handful of regional acts are slugging it out for a paycheck and bragging rights this Saturday. Nine groups are rocking for the votes at the Fargo Park District's Battle of the Bands at Dike West, with acts taking the stage every hour on the hour from 1 to 9 p.m. On the ballot are Everwonder, Show Stone, That One Band, University, Crimson, StoneCast, Talented Gentlemen, Katalyst and Unlern, all competing for $150 for third place, $300 for second place and $500 for first.
