Saturday - Wander into downtown Fargo's Spirit Room Gallery these days, and you'll step right onto a tree-lined trail to Zen-like serenity. No, we're not talking about the chance you might walk in on the weekly yoga classes at the gallery. We're referring to the vibrant pastel drawings of Fargo artist Gin Templeton, with soothing titles such as "Morning Stillness" and "Sunlight Through the Trees." Some landscape artists get their kicks capturing majestic mountaintops and churning seas. Templeton prefers the tree-lined trails and rolling brush of the North Dakota prairie. Episcopal priest and published poet Jamie Parsley crafted exquisite poems to accompany the show. Templeton and Parsley will talk about the exhibit at 8 p.m. Saturday. Parsley will read his poetry at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The events are free and open to the public. (701) 237-0230.
