'Go-Go Beach'
Thursday through Sunday
The days of "Beach Blanket Bingo" and the lost summers searching for the perfect wave may never reach another zenith like the Frankie and Annette era. That said, Concordia College's production of "Go-Go Beach" is as much a send-up of the 1960s as it is a touching tribute to days gone by. The story follows a surfer who loses his girlfriend -- and subsequently his touch on the board -- when he falls for a runaway pop star. His only hope for riding the waves again is a hippie girl. Dig your toes into this sandy musical featuring new and original surfer tunes, girl groups and plenty of flower power. Nightly through Saturday at 8 p.m. in Frances Frazier Comstock Theatre with a Sunday matinee at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for evening shows and $3 for the matinee. (218) 299-3642.
