Saturday
It's a week late, but if you can erect a Christmas tree in September, you can get grateful post-turkey. Here's something hip-hop fans here can be thankful for: Heiruspecs doesn't hold a grudge. About two years back, the live hip-hop group from St. Paul flipped its van on an icy road near Fargo while wrapping up a tour in support of 2004 release "A Tiger Dancing." The crash took the band off the fast track but not off I-94. Saturday's show marks the 'Specs' second return since the accident, a break from working on a new CD. New songs would be great, but Twinkie Jiggles' slinky bass, dVRG's dazzling keyboard work and the Run-D.M.C.-style tag-team of MCs Felix and Muad'dib form a vibe so tight the guys could play the same stuff for years before the natives up here get restless. Me and You Crew opens the show at 10 at The Aquarium. Cover is $5. (701) 235-5913
