What is it with Midwestern bar bands with lower case, funky spellings of names? Fargo has davis? and St. Cloud, Minn., has roGer. They obviously have no regard for spell check, but they do care about pumping out radio-ready danceable music that brings people to the floor. That's what the brothers in roGer aim to do Friday night at 9 when they plug in at Playmakers in Fargo. (For the record, the brothers in davis? are playing at the same time in the Red River Valley Fair Beer Garden.) There is a $3 cover for this 21 and older show. (701) 232-6767.
