Heading out to Johnson's Barn is a bit of a leap of faith, as an hour's drive to rural Arthur, N.D., in the dead of winter isn't the sort of thing done on a lark. That's why it's good that the electronica acts that will play at the historic countryside all-ages venue on Jan. 24 will be closer to home Friday for a night at The Aquarium. It gives the glow-stick crowd a chance to make sure it's worth the trip. The headliners for both shows are the same: wiggly local techno band Sovereign Sect and The Histronic, a Minneapolis act mining the same sonic vein.
