Don't let the name fool you. Trampled by Turtles may sound like a slow, painful experience, but this bluegrass band plays with lightning quickness and a deft touch. Duluth's music scene may be best known for the slow-core dark melodies of Low, but these Turtles play like the Lutzen slopes were a distant chain the Blue Ridge Mountains. The string band opens for local jam rockers Bad Mojo. Music starts at 10 p.m. with a $4 cover at Foxes bar in Moorhead. (218) 284-7575.
