FARGO — The Village Family Service Center announced Tuesday, May 26, two no-cost webinars on mental health for the public.
The webinars, which will take place Wednesday, June 3, and Wednesday, June 17, are the latest in The Business Bite, a series of lunchtime talks hosted by The Villages Business Institute. June's subjects will focus on managing anxiety in individuals and workplaces.
In the first webinar, Denise Hellekson, a licensed counselor, social worker and mediator, will share "easy-to-use self-care strategies" to improve overall wellbeing.
Nancy Boyle, an employee assistance program trainer, will lead the second webinar, discussing common reactions to uncertainty, help leaders understand its effects on the workplace and provide tools to decrease workplace stress and anxiety.
The sessions will be transmitted via the GoToTraining platform and each is limited to 50 participants. To register, those interested can visit TheVillageFamily.org/events.
