A noon-hour fire caused minor damage to a West Fargo business Monday when an industrial oven apparently overheated.
According to West Fargo fire Chief Roy Schatschneider:
West Fargo fire crews were dispatched at 12:30 p.m. to Neal's Industrial Painting, 701 Main Ave. W., where employees told authorities that the contents of one of their industrial ovens had caught fire.
Crews had the blaze doused within minutes. The oven, estimated at $35,000, sustained heavy damage, and there was minor smoke damage to the rest of the building.
The business was able to reopen once fire crews cleared the scene about a half-hour after the call came in.
