WEST FARGO - West Fargo Public Works will host daily "spring melt" briefings beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, the city announced.
City commissioners and various department leaders will report on any necessary daily information as it pertains to the spring melt.
The briefings will be open to the public and held in the Public Works facility at 810 12th Ave. NW.
West Fargo often has few, if any, issues with flooding, due to the protection given by the Sheyenne Diversion.
But in 2009, the city had issues with ice jams on the Sheyenne River itself.
