WEST FARGO - The West Fargo Police Department made 37 traffic stops and issued 26 traffic citations during a statewide seatbelt enforcement period July 13-21.
Twenty-one of the citations were for occupant restraint violations, according to a release from the police department.
A large percentage of traffic fatalities each year in North Dakota are the result of occupants failing to properly wear their restraints, the release stated.
