The public is invited to a tree lighting ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Monday in front of West Fargo City Hall.
The event, hosted by the city and its chamber of commerce, will include Christmas carols and a post-lighting reception in City Hall.
The chamber is collecting donations to establish a light display at the corner of Fourth Avenue and Ninth Street East. The West Fargo Visitors Committee will match all donations up to $300.
