West Fargo city officials and the West Fargo Area Chamber of Commerce are holding the sixth annual

Tree Lighting Ceremony at

6:30 p.m. Monday.

The lighting will take place at City Hall, 800 4th Ave. E. Santa Claus and the West Fargo High School Carolers are slated to appear at the ceremony, a news release said.

The Healthy Communities Partnership will also be attending.

The partnership is encouraging every attending child to bring a gently used book to exchange for something new to read, the release said.
