MOORHEAD - A West Fargo woman was arrested by Moorhead police this morning following a vehicle chase through a residential area.
According to Moorhead police:
Officers were dispatched about 3:40 a.m. regarding a report of a stolen car. The caller provided police with the suspect's name, and while responding to the call officers spotted the vehicle and attempted to stop it.
The driver refused to stop and was able to lose the officers in a residential area of north Moorhead.
Police stopped the pursuit, but resumed it later when the car was located again.

The vehicle crashed after the driver tried to cross railroad tracks at First Avenue and 17th Street North.
The female driver tried to flee on foot, but was apprehended.
Police identified the woman as Devin Faye Simonson, 31, of West Fargo.
Police said Simonson was being held on charges of fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, driving after revocation and fleeing a police officer on foot.
Police said the owner of the vehicle knows Simonson and did not want to pursue theft charges against her for taking the car.
