FARGO – A West Fargo driver slipped off an Interstate 94 on-ramp in southwest Fargo on Saturday night, sending the car tumbling onto its roof about 10 feet below the roadway, near a pedestrian tunnel.

Around 7:30 p.m., Britt Cahlander, 19, was driving a two-door Honda Accord on the eastbound Interstate 94 on-ramp off of Veterans Boulevard when the back end of her car started to slide and she over-corrected, West Fargo police Sgt. Patrick Hanson said.

Cahlander’s car flipped and landed on its roof just north of a pedestrian tunnel that runs underneath the ramp.

Cahlander was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, Hanson said. She was wearing a seat belt, according to a news release. Hanson said Cahlander likely won’t be cited in the crash.
