West Fargo school officials are looking at a second option for future middle and high schools.
At a Wednesday meeting, board members and administrators discussed a second option for a five-year building plan.
The plan would keep the current high school, but add a second high school adjacent to the current Sheyenne Ninth Grade Center. The ninth-grade center would become a second middle school.
Preliminary drawings for the plan include expanding the middle school's gym and academic space. The plans also suggest building a performing arts/library space between the middle school and high school for both. The preliminary plans suggest the buildings would be connected by a tunnel.
The building plans will next be discussed at a committee meeting 7 a.m. Feb. 4.
