WAHPETON, N.D. - A Wisconsin man is charged with reckless endangerment in connection with an April 5 joyride that ended with him and his two passengers being rescued by boat when their pickup became partially submerged in water on a low-maintenance road west of Wahpeton.

Joseph W. Reinke, 22, of Janesville, is scheduled to make his initial appearance today in Richland County District Court.

No charges are expected against the two passengers, said Assistant Richland County State's Attorney Ron McBeth.

Reinke also was cited for careless driving and driving without liability insurance.
