Firefighters at the Spirit Lake Nation put out three fires this past week, causing enough damage to displace multiple families.
The first fire started on June 29, with the other two following July 2 and 3.
Two houses, one in Saint Michael, North Dakota, and one in Fort Totten, and an apartment building in Saint Michael all caught fire within this past week.
The fires displaced a total of 10 families but thankfully there were no fatalities.
"They're currently being housed at the Spirit Lake Casino with assistance from the American Red Cross," Spirit Lake Emergency Manager Joe Albert Sr. said.

The fires are thought to have been caused by fireworks, but there has been no official statement from the Fire Marshal yet.
