DENT, Minn. – The woman accused of running over a six-year-old boy with an ATV made her first court appearance Monday.
Abigail Feist of Pelican Rapids is accused of hitting the boy and driving off without stopping.
The six-year-old sustained minor injuries from the accident.
Feist has tentatively pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of criminal vehicular operation, misdemeanor criminal vehicular operation, misdemeanor failure to stop and misdemeanor of failing to notify the police.
A settlement hearing is scheduled for June 22.

If convicted, the maximum sentence is three years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
