Woman charged with theft from AAA

BISMARCK - A woman is accused of stealing more than $9,000 from AAA of North Dakota while working for the automobile association. Lindsay Albertson, 25, of Bismarck, is charged with theft of property, a Class C felony. Her bail was set at $2,000....

BISMARCK - A woman is accused of stealing more than $9,000 from AAA of North Dakota while working for the automobile association.

Lindsay Albertson, 25, of Bismarck, is charged with theft of property, a Class C felony. Her bail was set at $2,000.

Police Lt. Dan Donlin said Albertson is accused of transferring electronic funds from the automobile association into her own account between last December and April this year. She also is accused of cashing traveler's checks in her name and stealing cash. Authorities said $9,694 was taken.

The theft was discovered through an internal investigation, police said.
