Woman found competent for trial

A St. Cloud woman has been found competent to stand trial for murder in the death of a St. Cloud man whose body was found buried 14 months after his death.

It was the second mental health evaluation for Terra Waters, 46, who is accused of killing Larry Blais, 59, in August 2002. Both exams found her competent, and a trial date is expected to be set soon, the St. Cloud Times reported in a story for today's editions.

Waters is accused of shooting Blais several times at aSt. Cloud residence, then moving his body to Hubbard County. His remains were recovered from a shallow grave in the Paul Bunyan State Forest near Park Rapids 14 months later.
