MINNEAPOLIS - A woman has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for running down another woman at a Minneapolis gas station.

Simone K. Stillday of Minneapolis had previously pleaded guilty in the death of Evelyn Geng, 62, who was killed last August when she pursued a man out of the store who had taken a $50 bill from her hand.

The judge said he gave Stillday a long sentence because of the manner and cruelty of Geng's death, and because she fled without calling for medical aid and was intoxicated at the time.
