DETROIT LAKES, Minn. --Motorists traveling on Highway 10 through Detroit Lakes during the Memorial Day weekend may encounter delays due to road construction projects.
Travelers should note:
- Highway 10 traffic is reduced to two lanes through Detroit Lakes.
- As of today, stop signs have replaced the temporary traffic signal in all directions at the intersection of Highway 10 and Washington Avenue and will be in place for about three weeks.
- County Road 54 between Highway 10 and the BNSF Railway tracks is closed. County Road 54 motorists should follow the signed detour.

- Washington Avenue north of Highway 10 will close to traffic for about three weeks beginning today. Washington Avenue motorists should follow the signed detour.
