Every year at this time, editors and news directors of media outlets everywhere huddle to reflect on the past year in news. They try to determine the top stories in their market, keeping in mind audience impact, importance and scope. This year, The Forum wants readers to choose the newspaper's top stories. We've done a little of the up-front work by narrowing the list, but the rest is up to you. You have until the end of the day Tuesday to vote. We'll publish the results in The Forum on Dec. 31.
