YMCA celebrates active older adult day

The Fargo-Moorhead YMCA will host activities to recognize, celebrate and support older adults from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Downtown YMCA, 400 1st Ave. S., Fargo.

The Fargo-Moorhead YMCA will host activities to recognize, celebrate and support older adults from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Downtown YMCA, 400 1st Ave. S., Fargo.

The day highlights activities designed especially for older adults. Some of the activities include seminars on macular degeneration and osteoporosis, a special yoga class, a special aquatic class and fun and games.

The event is free and open to all members and nonmembers who consider themselves active older adults.
