A new youth center has opened in Fargo's Rose Creek neighborhood.
The Youth Commission, a nonprofit that provides before- and after-school child care programs, opened the new facility Monday at 4809 S. University Drive.
Called the Youth Center at Rose Creek, the facility serves an average of 65 elementary school students daily.
Children involved in the program receive snacks and can participate in recreational programs and receive homework assistance.
The Youth Commission also has a center in Moorhead.
