Shannon Nichols and Scott Schell, Fargo, announce their engagement.
Parents are Vernell and Mary Nichols, Ulen, Minn.; and Larry and Judith Schell, Mandan, N.D.
Shannon graduated in 2000 from Ulen-Hitterdal High School, Ulen, and in 2005 graduated from Josef's School of Hair Design, Fargo. She is a manager and stylist at Bucci Salon, Fargo.
Scott graduated in 1996 from Watford City (N.D.) High School and in 2008 graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in construction management. He is a project engineer in the wind energy division at Wanzek Construction, Fargo.
An Aug. 22 wedding is planned at Hope Lutheran Church, North Campus, Fargo, followed by a reception at the Doublewood Inn, Fargo.
