Bison women's soccer falls to Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS -- The University of Minnesota defeated North Dakota State 4-0 in women's soccer Friday, Sept. 7 at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium, with 1,224 in attendance.

MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota defeated North Dakota State 4-0 in women's soccer Friday, Sept. 7 at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium, with 1,224 in attendance.

Minnesota scored three of its goals in a three-minute stretch in the second half. Senior forward April Bockin scored twice, while Nikki Albrecht and Makenzie Langdok each scored one for the Gophers.

NDSU senior midfielder Roxy Roemer had three shots and two shots on goal for the Bison. Goalie Monica Polgar had four saves in 90 minutes.

Minnesota improved to 4-3 and North Dakota fell to 1-3 overall.
