President Trump is calling for the Justice Department to investigate the anonymous author of an op-ed that appeared in the New York Times. He claims it is treasonous, but by the standards, the Supreme Court defines what treason is. It is not.
He is in total violation of his oath of office that states: "I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Amendment I, of the United States Constitution states: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
