Raymond J. Janousek
Raymond J. Janousek, 96, Moorhead, MN, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018, in Villa Maria, Fargo, ND.
Raymond John Janousek was born on September 8, 1922, to John and Mary (Frede) Janousek in Cloquet, MN. He grew up there and worked at a paper mill. He served during WWII in the Army Air Force from July 15, 1942, until December 6, 1945. He moved to Moorhead where he was self-employed as a sign painter and calligrapher. He married the love of his life, Virginia Goode, on January 14, 1961, and they were married until her death in 2015.
