Anne T. Conway

Anne T. Conway, 69, Fargo, died on June 12, 2021, in her home, under the care of the Hospice of the Red River Valley in Fargo, ND.

Anne was the sixth child of Happy (Gladys) and John C. Conway. Anne was born on November 9, 1951, at St. John’s Hospital in Fargo. She attended elementary school at St. Mary’s Cathedral and graduated from Shanley High School in 1970. Anne continued her education, attending North Dakota State University and Moorhead State University receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She taught school in Barnesville for 2 years and then taught in the Fargo Public Schools for 40 years. Anne retired in 2015.

Anne enjoyed volunteering at the Plains Art Museum and at different local schools. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Mary Poirier, Helen Jaurequi, and Pat Conway; her two brothers, Rev. Jack Conway and William Conway. She also lost two great-nieces, Kelly Ann and Jamie Poirier.

Anne is survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.

A memorial gathering will be 2-4 p.m., Thursday, June 24, at Trollwood West Gazebo in north Fargo.
