Greta Teets, age 78, of West Fargo, formerly Minot, ND. died Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at New Perspectives Senior Living, West Fargo.
Greta Gay Teets was born July 23, 1942, in Minot, daughter of Stuart and Kathryn (Kalbfleisch) Uleberg. She lived in Minot throughout all her childhood years and graduated from Minot High School. After high school she attended college at Minot State University where she earned a secretarial degree. She married David Teets on April 19, 1963, and they lived in Minot where their only son Trent was born. Greta worked as an administrative assistant throughout her whole life, first at the Model School in Minot, then in her husband’s business at Rugbee Air Care, and finally Pierce County Clerk of Courts, Porter Bros, Senske and Son, and Liechty Mobile Homes before she retired. After retirement, her and Dave moved to West Fargo to be next to their son and his family. After Dave’s death and the arrival of the pandemic she was grateful to have her family from New Perspectives there to always provide comfort and much happiness.
Greta loved to care for her flowers and always kept a meticulous lawn. She would spend hours watching the birds come in and out of the many bird feeders outside her living room window. She would spend her summers packing up her dogs Snowball and Nugget and heading for her campground at the Garrison Boat and Barge Club and other locations along Lake Sakakawea. She spent hours gathering and organizing her coupons and could spot a good deal anywhere. She also loved to manage her collections of dolls, birdhouses, Furbys and solar-powered dancing figurines.
She is survived by her son Trent (JoAnn), grandchildren Brandon (Miranda), Benjamin (Kelsey), and Bethany. Great-grandchildren, Easton and Charlie; her brother Tom Uleberg. Greta was preceded death by her parents and her husband David.
