Howard D. Sharpe

Howard passed away on September 17, 2019 at the University Medical Center Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis, MN, at the age of 66. Howard Sharpe was born in Mayville on August 19, 1953 to Doug and Helen Sharpe. On November 28, 1975 he married Karen Lundeby and together they had two sons, Brian and Matthew. Howard worked for American Family Insurance for 32 years in Dickinson. He was involved in Blue Hawk Boosters, Dickinson Park Board, Badlands Bowl and other various committees. He was an avid outdoorsman who particularly enjoyed golf and hunting, among many other activities. In 2017 he moved to Fargo for health reasons. He is survived by his wife Karen of 44 years, sons Brian and Matthew of Boulder, CO, his mother Helen, sisters, Laura Norby and Karen Hamre.
