Jesse Oscar Anderson
Jesse Oscar Anderson, 43 of Boise, ID passed away during an Army training exercise on February 2nd, 2021. Jess was born January 21st, 1978 in Honolulu, HI at Tripler Army Medical Hospital to Bruce and Lori (Gieseke) Anderson.
Jess was married to Vikki Anderson October 20th, 2000 in Prescott, AZ. He was the proud father to four children; Savannah, Marcus, Kyle, and Jase.
Jess had a BS in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He was a Chief Warrant Officer 4 in the Idaho Army National Guard performing duties as the Battalion Standardization Instructor Pilot for the 1st of the 168th General Support Aviation Battalion. During his 20 year military career he logged nearly 6,000 flight hours, more than 1800 combat flight hours in the UH-60L Blackhawk helicopter, and the C-12 Huron airplane. He is a veteran that has spent over 1,000 days deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 3pm in building 1530, Gowen Field in Boise, Idaho.
In lieu of flowers or memorial funds, the family requests donations be made in Jesse Anderson’s name to the Idaho Food Bank.
