Karen Ann Kirkhoff

Karen A. Kirkhoff, 71, West Fargo, ND passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at her home.

Karen Ann Kirkhoff was born on July 21, 1948 at Fargo, ND to Robert and Bernice (Ernst) Kirkhoff. Karen grew up and attended school in West Fargo, graduating from West Fargo High School. She worked for Northwest Bell, later Qwest, in Bismarck and Fargo for over 30 years then for South Elementary School as a cook for around 16 years before retiring.

Karen really enjoyed watching her nephew and great – nieces play sports as they were growing up and going to the casino. She was also an avid reader and Minnesota Twins fan.

Karen is survived by her sisters Viki (Jim) Burner, of Apache Junction, AZ and Jody (Paul) Bjerk, of West Fargo, ND; along with her nephews and niece Dr. Jim Burner, Bobbie Burner, Brian Bjerk, and Carly Bjerk.

Karen was preceded in death by her father Robert Kirkhoff and mother Bernice Larsen.
