Margaret M. Otto,

Margaret Marie Bierbauer was born Oct. 29, 1906, in Casselton, N.D., where she grew up and graduated from Lincoln High School. She graduated from North Dakota State University and taught home economics in Wyndmere, N.D., for a year. She married Albert Otto Oct. 6, 1932, in Casselton, where they made their home. They moved to Wahpeton in 1958. She worked at Montgomery Ward for about 10 years and as a custodian for Bethel Lutheran Church for several years. He died in 1978. She entered the nursing home in 1996.

She is survived by a son, Donald, Wahpeton; a daughter, Carol Ritter, Roseburg, Ore.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Friday from 1 to 2 in Bethel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton.

Funeral: Friday at 2 in the church.

Burial: Casselton Cemetery.
