DEVILS LAKE, N.D. - Marian H. (Schwan) Alvestad, 88, Devils Lake, died Sunday, Jan. 20, in Good Samaritan Care Center.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., with a rosary and scripture service at 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 25, at Gilbertson Funeral Home in Devils Lake. Visitation will continue from 10-11 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 26, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The Rev. Steven Wirth will celebrate the Mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
