Ward lived and played the game of life his way!! He brought joy to whoever, wherever and whatever occasion he attended. He will be sorely missed.
Ward Dale Henderson and his twin brother were born January 12, 1971 to Larry and Cheri Henderson. Ward graduated from Fargo South High School in 1990. He spent the next four years skiing and working in Winter Park and Breckenridge, Colorado. He left Colorado to work on a fishing boat in Alaska, before returning to Fargo to work construction for many years. In January 2019 he moved to Phoenix, AZ where he was in training to become a building inspector. Ward stayed active and enjoyed all kinds of sports from snow skiing, water skiing, to basketball and golf. He was also an avid sports fan, especially for the NDSU Bison and the Minnesota Vikings and Twins. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Henderson and his grandparents Leonard and Lily Henderson, Jim Blake and Doris Blake. He is survived by his mother Cheri Olday and her husband David Olday, San Tan Valley, Arizona, his twin brother Wyatt and his wife London and nephews, Bryce (18), Connor (18) and niece Cambelle (17) in Dallas, Texas. He also leaves behind many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Holiday Inn in Fargo, ND on November 8th from 4:00 to 8:00. In lieu of flowers we ask for donations to the Calvin Corinthian Cemetery, 422 3rd Ave, Calvin ND 58323.
