After graduating from Fargo South High School in 1990, Jarrott attended University of North Dakota and later moved to Arizona to attend Arizona State University.

Jarrott was very active in his younger years as he enjoyed playing hockey, skiing, skateboarding, and golf, always with the compulsion of mastering each activity. Jarrott had a charming and caring personality that touched many. His curiosity and inquisitiveness allowed him to be successful in all of his endeavors including business, sports and relationships as well as the tendency to question everything. He enjoyed new ventures in ways of business and friendships, as he had many of each. Jarrott is survived and will be missed by his son, Michael McKinney, Michael’s Mother and good friend, Lisa Balsley, (Chandler, AZ), Mother and step father Marlys and Paul Bohrer (Fargo, ND); Brothers Lucas Bohrer (Fargo, ND), Grady McKinney, and Sister Claire along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jarrott is preceded in death by his infant son, James Paul McKinney, Father, Herbert S. McKinney, Grandparents Joseph and Helen Kremer, Lt. Col. Herbert McKinney and wife, Claire McKinney. A private funeral will take place at a later date.

A Celebration of Life will begin with a Blessing at 3:30 and fellowship to follow until 6 pm, Thursday, July 9th at AMVETS (1001 1st Ave. S. in Fargo). Children are welcome. Memorials may be directed to the family for the benefit of Michael’s future endeavors. Arrangements by Falconer Funeral Home, Gilbert, AZ.
