Clinton Norman Kilde, 79, of Fargo, ND, passed away on November 15, 2020, at Essentia Health, Fargo, ND. A celebration of Life will be held in the Spring. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New York Mills, MN. Clinton (Clint) Kilde was born on March 26, 1941, in Fergus Falls, MN, to Ben and Magna Kilde. He married Rosalind Lund in 1963. The couple was blessed with two children, Tania and Tyler. Clint was a volunteer fireman and Lion’s Club member. He worked for Future Homes, Motorola, and MATBUS. Clint was ambitious and adventurous. When piloting a small aircraft, he would often circle the homestead before landing to send a message to his family that he would be home soon. Clint and his wife enjoyed traveling in the RV to new vacation places or just a quick trip up the road to attend family reunions. An appreciation for automobiles would often have him searching for the next used car restoration project. He also shared a love of music with his wife which would bring the two of them to the dance floor in support of local bands and family musicians. Clint said that his children were his “greatest gift,” and he was always quick to lend a hand to fix whatever needed fixing or to offer words of praise or encouragement. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Betty (Bill) Boen, Shirley (Chet) Ullom, Valdine (Carl) Petty; brothers, Gordon Kilde, and Virgil Kilde. Clint is survived by his loving wife, Rosalind, who was also his devoted caregiver for 2 years; his daughter, Tania (Tim) Schepper; his son, Tyler (Deidre); 8 grandchildren, Sierra, Tylin and Tea Schepper; Ashton and Trinity Kilde; Kiana, Dexter and Dawson Leer; brothers, Rodney (Eileen) Kilde, Jack (Alein) Kemp, and sister-in-law, Marlys Kilde.
