Evelyn Anderson

Evelyn Marie (Dramstad) Anderson passed away of congestive heart failure on January 19, 2023, at the Auberge Assisted Living Residential Community in Missoula, MT. Born to Hans and Bergine Dramstad on August 4, 1927, she was a baptized and confirmed member of Mabel Lutheran Church in Sutton, ND and graduated from Sutton High School. In 1949 she married schoolmate Darold Anderson. They owned the Bordulac Stock Farm at Bordulac, ND where they farmed and raised registered Black Angus cattle. In later years, they farmed in the Glenfield-Sutton area, eventually moving to Fargo, ND. They enjoyed many winters at Sunshine RV Park in Harlingen, TX. In 2019, Evelyn moved to Missoula, MT.

Evelyn is survived by four daughters: Jayne VerLee, Holland, MI; Muriel “Micki” (Gary) Tourtelotte, Superior, MT; Donna (Philip) Eli, Churchs Ferry, ND; and Becky (Dave) Verbyla, Fairbanks, AK; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Kent (Barbara) Anderson, Cooperstown, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews and relatives in Norway.

She was preceded in death by her husband Darold, her parents, her 7 siblings and their spouses, and son-in-law David VerLee.

Burial and Memorial Services will take place later in the spring. Memorial contributions can be made to Mabel Lutheran Cemetery or Big Sky Hospice of Missoula.
