Gerald John Haskins, 76, of Maple Grove, MN (raised in Fargo, ND) was called home to be with the Lord on January 17, 2023 after a challenging journey with bladder cancer and Lewy body dementia. John was a life-long athlete, coach and mentor with a love for sports and competition. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, always prioritizing family. Preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mary (Perez) Haskins. Survived by his wife of 42 years, Wanda; children Krista, Kaycee (David) Leanger, Matthew, Zachary (Hillary); 6 grandchildren Allison, Ezekiel, Isaac, Ezra, Reese, Miles; siblings Michael (Linda), Patricia (Richard) Borgen, Donna (William) Cely.

A Celebration of Life service will be held February 4, 2023 at Fourth Baptist Church, 900 Forestview Lane N, Plymouth, MN. Visitation 10am, Service 11am, Luncheon to follow. Private interment at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
