O’Niel V. Strom

O’Niel Victor Strom, age 73 of Fargo, ND, passed away on April 2, 2023.

O’Niel was born on April 27, 1949, the son of Nilo and Mayvis (Lien) Strom. He graduated from Steele High School. He attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, and graduated in 1971. O’Niel then began his career as a Medical Technologist at the Fargo Clinic and retired from Sanford in 2010. O’Niel was a member of the North Dakota Air National Guard for 27 years.

O’Niel married the love of his life, Diane Schneider, on June 5, 1971. They had two children - Heather and Kyle. O’Niel enjoyed spending time with family, visiting with friends on the front porch and cheering on his favorite sports teams, especially the NDSU Bison. He was a proud Grandpa, and loved attending all of his grandchildren’s activities and sporting events.

O’Niel is survived by his wife of 51 years, Diane; daughter, Heather (Dale) Miller; son, Kyle Strom; and his grandchildren - Isabel Miller, Addison Miller, Konner Strom, and Khloe Strom.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2 PM Friday, April 7, 2023 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center in Fargo - with a gathering one hour prior.
