Susan Dokken

Susan Dokken, 64, of Moorhead, MN, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 15, 2023, while living in Sacramento, CA. Susan was born on February 10, 1959 in Moorhead, MN. She attended Moorhead Sr. High and lived in the Fargo-Moorhead area for most of her life, spending the last two years in Citrus Heights, CA.

Susan was preceded in death by her father and mother, Glenn and Delores (Sonju) Dokken. She is survived by her daughter, Amber Pfaff; son, Andrew Wilcox; brother Richard (Karen) Dokken; sister Kathleen Eisinger; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

Sue, as many knew her, was a free spirit, charming, carefree, charismatic, funny and will always be remembered for her beautiful smile. She was happiest when she was near any kind of water, loved collecting sea shells and finding thrift store bargains. Her passion for music (mainly classic rock and especially Led Zeppelin) was evident by the 1000+ songs on her MP3 player! She was very creative and made beautiful beaded jewelry and greeting cards for family and friends. Everyone knew how much she loved her cat, Sammy, and all take comfort in knowing that the two best friends are now reunited.

Susan will be interred with her parents at Moorhead Memorial Gardens. There will also be a Celebration of Life. Both the burial and Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
