Richard L Hanson

Richard Lee Hanson passed away August 23, 2018 in Mesa, AZ of natural causes. He was 76. He was born to Clifford and Helen Hanson in Cooperstown, ND on June 20, 1942. They moved to Fargo. After high school, Richard joined the Army and was stationed at Fort Carson Colorado. Returning from the service, he met and married Beverly Sauvageau January 14, 1967. They were married 45 years before she passed in 2012. Richard retired from freight hauling and enjoyed his retirement making and playing guitars and banjo’s. Richard is survived by son Callie (Brook), daughter Tracy, stepson Kevin (Teri) Lill, sister Jan Dullum and mother-in-law Angela Sauvageau, all in ND and special friend Jeanette Stokes, AZ. 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, parents and father-in-law. Private memorial to be held at later date
