Robert Wimer

Robert Wimer passed away from cancer 9/14 under hospice care in Florida surrounded by his family.

Bob served in the Air Force at MAFB and the Philippines. He was discharged in 1969 and began working at Diamonds Department Store Minot, ND. He opened his own clothing store R Allen’s in 1975.  During his time in Minot he was a member of the Minot Lions Club and past president of the Minot Eagles Club. He was also active at Bishop Ryan High School.

In 1987 he began working at Vanity as a district manager. He then started his career with JCPenney Fargo retiring in 2011. He and his wife wintered in Florida where he enjoyed his passion - golf.  

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Trudy, his children Denise (Jason) Dellwo, Florida and his son Nick (Shauna) Wimer West Fargo. His grandchildren Hayley Dellwo, whom he shares a birthday, and Charles Wimer. He is preceded in death by a granddaughter Baby Girl Wimer.
