age 76 of Apple Valley, passed away on Jan. 1, 2019 after a brief illness. She was born to Peter & Esther Jensen Feb. 5, 1942 in Breckenridge, MN graduating from Breckenridge HS. She attended business college, was employed at St Paul Fire and Marine Insurance and later at American Greetings Co. She was united in marriage to Gary Jacobs on Oct. 10, 1964. They lived in Fargo and moved to Apple Valley, MN in 1970. She loved reading books, was an active conservative Christian and had beautiful flower gardens. She loved to shop and enjoyed any new restaurants. She loved her children and her grandchildren and was more than generous in helping them in any way she could. She will be missed by all. Sonja is survived by her husband Gary; daughter, Cindy; sons Paul (Angel), Andy (Dee) and Brian (Jess); 7 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and many close friends. She is preceded in death by parents; brothers, Ed and Willard Jensen; and sister Jeanette Glock. Memorial Service, 11 AM, Sat. Jan. 12, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley, MN with visitation one hour before.
