Susan A. “Susie” Swedberg

Susan A. Swedberg, 61, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND.

Susan Ann Swedberg was born on July 15, 1959 in Pelican Rapids, MN, to LeRoy and Muriel (Robinson) Swedberg. She grew up in White Earth, MN, and graduated from Wauban High School. She went on to attend Technical college in Detroit Lakes, MN, for two years before beginning a career with Merit Care, now Sanford, where she worked as a receiving clerk for over 40 years.

Susie truly loved life to the fullest through simple pleasures. A nature lover that enjoyed the outdoors…planting flowers, gardening, boating at Sandy, fishing, and watching wildlife off the deck of the porch at the cabin foreseeing the lake and wondrous interaction of the birds in flight. At the end of the day, what she loved most, was gathering around the fire pit chatting and laughing with family and friends.

Susan is survived by sisters, Karen McDougall and Deborah Swedberg; brother, Kenneth (Lisa) Swedberg and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jerrid Swedberg; sister, Juanita Hamilton; brothers, Rod and Chad Swedberg and niece, Shawn Swedberg.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM with a visitation beginning at 1:00 PM at Calvary Cemetery, White Earth, MN.
